Refund Policy

1. Overview

We understand that plans can change. Veda Companionship offers a fair, time-based refund and reschedule policy designed to balance the user's flexibility with our companion's committed time. Below are the rules that apply to all bookings.

2. Refund Tiers

100% refund

3+ hours before session

Full cancellation or free reschedule allowed.

50% refund

1–3 hours before session

Partial refund only. No reschedule.

✗ No reschedule

No refund

Under 1 hour

Session considered started.

3. Free Sessions

The first online session for children (Cultural Storytelling) and teenagers (Confidential Listening) is provided free of charge. As no payment is collected, no refund applies. However, you may reschedule or cancel a free session up to 3 hours before with no penalty.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Log in to your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to My Bookings
  3. Click Cancel on the booking
  4. The system auto-calculates your refund based on cancellation time
  5. Approved refunds are credited within 5–7 business days to your original payment method

5. Special Circumstances

We may issue a 100% refund regardless of timing in these cases:

  • • The companion did not show up
  • • Technical failure on our platform
  • • Companion violated our conduct policy
  • • Medical emergency (documentation may be requested)
  • • Family bereavement

6. Reschedule Policy

Rescheduling is allowed up to 3 hours before your scheduled session. After that window, you must cancel and rebook.

Each user can reschedule a booking a maximum of 2 times before it is auto-cancelled with a 50% refund.

7. Refund Processing Time

  • UPI / Wallets: 1–2 business days
  • Net Banking: 3–5 business days
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days
  • International cards: up to 10 business days

Important Note

Refunds are processed only to the original payment method used at booking. We do not issue cash, bank transfers, or alternate-account refunds for security reasons.
